Advanced Roofing, Inc. has installed the largest photovoltaic solar laminate system in the state of Florida. The system was designed and distributed by Advanced Green Technologies, who helped with everything from the initial conception of the system to the installation technical support. The hurricane resistant system is 55 kW and can handle up to 85% of the building loads. Unlike a traditional solar system, these laminates were fully adhered, putting no penetrations in the roof system. This is one of the advantages of the pvl panels, because they reduce the chance of leaks.
